DAY 9: FLIGHT FROM OSLO TO REYKJAVÍK – HVOLSVOLLUR
For most Icelandic visitors, Reykjavik is the gateway to wilderness adventures just beyond it, like Geysir Geothermal Area,
Gullfoss Waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park. But the city itself deserves a few itinerary days to help you get a feel for
Icelandic culture. Reykjavík might very well be the smallest big city in the world. There are just so many things to see and
do.On arrival in Reykjavik, after immigration and customs formalities head out for the famous Golden Circle which is the
nickname of one of the most captivating tour itineraries in all of Iceland. Home to volcanic landforms, surprising history,
and some of the country’s most picturesque locations, the route makes for a truly unmissable journey. That’s great, because,
located in south-west Iceland, the Golden Circle is only a stone’s throw from the charming Icelandic capital, Reykjavik. That
means you can easily cover the area’s three major sights in a day’s journey from the city: Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir
Geothermal Park, Þingvellir National Park.
Strokkur, is there to keep you entertained. Strokkur erupts every 5 to 10 minutes and can shoot water as high as 40 metres.
It’s an awesome, euphoric thing to witness, not least because it’s one of the few active geysers you can see in the world. Not
far from Geyser is one of Iceland’s best-known waterfalls: Gullfoss. It’s one of the largest waterfalls in Europe by volume—
and it’s certainly one of the most beautiful. The third major site in the Golden Circle is Þingvellir National Park, a place of
momentous natural and historical importance for Iceland and the world. It was Iceland’s first national park and it remains
a UNESCO World Heritage Site for good reason—so you’ll have lots to explore.
In the evening check-in at a Hotel in Hvolsvollur. Freshen up and then the Local 3 Course Dinner would be served.
After dinner you are to explore the area in search of the magic of Aurora Borealis.

DAY 10: HVOLSVOLLUR – JOKULSARLON – REYNISFJARA – HVOLSVOLLUR
After breakfast drive to the Southern Shores of Iceland to Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon & Diamond Beach. As the days tour
would be amidst natural landscapes, you would only be provided with a small snack packet during the lunch
time.Jokulsarlon Lagoon – The Glacier Lagoon Iceland is one of the most awesome natural wonders of the world. People
are blown away by the stunning vastness and unique beauty as majestic icebergs make their way through the enormous
lagoon to the Atlantic Ocean. With its enormous and ancient icebergs breaking off from Vatnajökull glacier, this natural
wonder of Iceland is a sight you absolutely cannot miss. The lagoon produces a feeling of incredible tranquillity as the 1000–
1500-year-old ice silently drifts into the lake and slowly melts away. The lagoon covers 18 square kilometres (7 square
miles) and reaches more than 248 metres (814 ft) at its deepest point. You may recognize the lagoon from scenes in Batman
Begins, Tomb Raider and two James Bond movies. One would stop at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls.
Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so
famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat
along if you want to walk behind it. Skógafoss, another famous Icelandic waterfall, is the starting point of municipal powers and was designated the administrative centre of the Danish-ruled island. On arrival in Reykjavik, proceed
for a guided city tour- It’s the northernmost capital in the world and our absolute favourite. Reykjavík, with its cutting-edge
art events, glorious street food, high-end restaurants, a plethora of music, colour, charm, outdoor pools, that friendly
atmosphere and those amazing views.Local 3 Course Dinner to be served and you all are to proceed towards the
hotel.Check-in at the Hotel and Overnight in Reykjavik.

After breakfast transfer to Blue Lagoon, a short drive from Reykjavik. The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa in southwestern
Iceland. The spa is located in a lava field near Grindavík and in front of Mount Þorbjörn on Reykjanes Peninsula, in a location
favourable for geothermal power, and is supplied by water used in the nearby Svartsengi geothermal power station. After
