Day 1

Dehradun - Haridwar / Rishikesh to Ranachatti (169 km Drive / 6 hrs. approx)

Ranachatti is a Hill village located in Barkot-Yamunotri national highway in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Ranachatti is situated at the bank of Holy River.

Barkot is a town and a Nagarpalika in Uttarkashi District in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is located on the banks of the Yamuna River. It’s at elevation 4000 ft. ASL. Barkot is located 48 km from Yamunotri. NH-123 and NH-94 are major highways connecting in Barkot.

Accommodations:

● After reaching there.
● Check into the Hotel.
● After this, a short walk around Barkot.
● Dinner around 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. (Only Pure Veg).
● Night stay at Hotel.
● At morning we move on around 8-9 a.m. (be ready).

Day 2

Ranachatti to Yamunotri to Ranachatti (45 km drive and then 6 km trek)

(Yamunotri (Hindi: यमुनोत्री) is the source of the Yamuna River and the seat of the Goddess Yamuna in Hinduism and first Temple in 9 Days Chardham Yatra 2021. It is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters (10,804 ft) in the Garhwal Himalayas and located approximately 30 kilometers (19 mi) North of Uttarkashi, the headquarters of the Uttarkashi district in the Garhwal Division of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the four sites in India’s Chota Char Dham pilgrimage. The sacred shrine of Yamunotri, source of the river Yamuna, is the westernmost shrine in the Garhwal Himalayas, perched atop a flank of Bandar Poonch Parvat. The chief attraction at Yamunotri is the temple devoted to the Goddess Yamuna and the holy thermal springs at Jankichatti (7 km away).

Day 3

Ranachatti to Uttarkashi (114 km drive / 4 hrs. approx)

Uttarkashi, meaning Kashi of the north, is a town in Uttarakhand, India. It is the district headquarters of Uttarkashi district. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi at an altitude of 1158 m above sea level.

● After this a short walk around the beauty of Uttarkashi Town area.
● Dinner around 8 p.m. (Only Pure Veg).

Day 4

Uttarkashi to Gangotri to Uttarkashi (100 km drive / 3 hrs. approx)

(Gangotri (Hindi: गंगोत्री) is a town and a Nagar Panchayat (municipality) in Uttarkashi district in the state of Uttarakhand, India and second Temple in 9 Days Chardham Yatra 2021. It is a Hindu pilgrim town on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and origin of River Ganges. It is on the Greater Himalayan Range, at a height of 3,100 meters (10,200 ft). According to popular Hindu legend, it was here that Goddess Ganga descended when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from the locks of his hair.)

Day 5

Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (198 km / 7 hrs. approx)

Guptkashi, Gupta Kashi or Guptkashi is a fairly large town located at an elevation of 1,319 meters in the Kedar-khanda, in Garhwal Himalayas of Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand, India. It is known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to the god Shiva, which is similar to the one in Varanasi.

Accommodations:

● After reaching Guptkashi Check into the Hotel & Later have short walk around the area.
● Dinner around 8 p.m. (Only Pure Veg).

Day 6

Guptkashi to Gaurikund to Kedarnath (30 km drive and 16 km trek)

Gaurikund is a Hindu pilgrimage site and base camp for trek to Kedarnath Temple, in Uttaranchal, India. It is situated at an altitude of 18,200 feet above mean sea level in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is the second highest lake in the world after Tso Sekuru which is located at the height of 18,284 feet above sea level.

Kedarnath Mandir (Kedarnath Temple) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and third Temple in Chardham Yatra 2021. The temple, at a height of 3,583 m (11,755 ft).It is on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini River in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand in India. Due to extreme weather conditions, the temple is open only between the ends of April (Akshaya Tritriya) to Kartik Purnima (the autumn full moon, usually November). During the winters, the vigrahas (deities) from Kedarnath temple are brought to Ukhimath and worshiped there for six months. Lord Shiva is worshiped as Kedarnath, the ‘Lord of Kedar-khanda’, and the historical name of the region.

● After 16 km trek when we reach Kedarnath check into the Hotel.
● Later at 5:00 p.m. in the evening or 4:00 a.m. in the morning you can join the Aarti.

Day 7

Kedarnath to Gaurikund to Guptkashi to Joshimath (14 km down trek and 145 km drive / 8 hrs. approx)

Jyotirmath, also known as Joshimath is a city and a municipal board in Chamoli District in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Located at a height of 6150 feet, it is gateway to several Himalayan mountain climbing expeditions, trekking trails and pilgrim centers like Badrinath.

Early morning leave for Shri Badrinath Ji. On arrival take the holy Darshan. (If time permit). Evening visit, Byas Gufa, Bheem Pul, Saraswati River. Overnight stay at hotel.

● Today we move for Joshimath.
● Dinner around 8 p.m. (Only Pure Veg).

Day 8

Joshimath to Badrinath to Joshimath (46 km drive / 2 hrs. approx)

Badrinath is a holy town and a Nagarpanchayat and fourth Temple in 9 Days Chardham Yatra 2021 Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state, India and it’s at elevation of 10,800 ft. ASL. It is the most important of the four sites in India’s Char Dham pilgrimage and gets its name from the temple of Badrinath.

At Morning we move to explore the area of Badrinath:

Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.

Narad Kund: A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.

Mata Murty Temple: Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinath Ji. Other important temples include Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka.

Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the roaring Saraswati River. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

● Morning Pooja 4:30 am to 6:30 a.m.Evening Aarti / Archana & Path (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.).

Day 9

Joshimath to Rishikesh / Dehradun (298 km / 8 hrs. approx)

After a lovely tour of Chardham yatra 2021 we will reach Rishikesh or Dehradun and then we all goes to their own way or can also stay that night at Hotel (as per your concern).
