DAY 1:- ARRIVE IN IMPHAL HALF DAY TOUR .
DAY 2 :- IMPHAL LOCAL SIGHT SEEING CITY TOUR .
DAY 3 :- THE BURMA BORDER TOUR ( 110 KM / 04-05 HOURS ) .
DAY 4 :- IMPHAL TO UKHRUL (03 —04 HOURS )
DAY 5 :- UKHRUL LOCAL SIGHT SEEING TOUR .
DAY 6 :- UKHRUL TO LOKTAK LAKE TIME ( 04 -05 HOURS ) .
DAY 7 :- LOKTAK LAKE & KEIBUL LAMJAO NATIONAL PARK
DAY 01 :- Arrive in IMPHAL airport meet & assist on arrival . Transfer to hotel , A Wonder fully located Cottage in Beautiful MANIPURI VILLAGE OFF IMPHAL . IN THE after noob Visit the State Museum to understand the history diversity & flora & fauna of MANIPUR . IN the Evening we will take parti puja at the Govindajee TEMPLE. the main Vaishnavite TEMPLE of MANIPUR . DAY 02:- IMPHAL A Full day guided TOUR of IMPHAL Citi which will cover the KANGLA FORT , WOMEN’S MARKET , SAHEED MINAR , RCKS Art Gallery , Mapal KANGJEIBUNG which is the oldest ( LIVING POLO GROUND IN THE WORLD ) & the two WWII Cemeteries. MANIPUR is Famous for its handloom & handicraft Products & WOMEN’S MARKET is the best place to pick up such things / souvenirs . A traditional MANIPURI LUNCH is part of this tour . Over night at IMPHAL. ( NOTE THE KANGLA FORT IS CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY ) .
DAY 03 :- Want to experience the thrill of crossing over what is perhaps INDIA’S most exciting & under -explored Inter national Border or of visiting the place where SOUTH ASIA MEETS SOUTH EAST ASIA Then this is the tour for you . We take you to the BORDER town of Moreh ( 110 K M From IMPHAL ) & cross over into Tamu IN ( BURMA / MYANMAR ) to see its bustling bazaar , friendly people & the Buddhist Monastery .We top off with a delicious Burmese Meal AS that wasn’t enough , en route near Tengoupl you enjoy stunning views from the road at 5,000 feet of the Mountains that from the most ferocious fightinght of WWII took place between the British & Japanese Soldiers . Drive back to IMPHAL . Over night AT IMPHAL . ( NOTE :- CROSSING THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER IN TO TAMU IS ONLY PERMITTED FOR & ON OFFER TO INDIAN TOURISTS . FOREIGN NATIONALS CAN TRAVEL UP MOREH NOLY .2 THE BORDER & THE MARKET ARE CLOSED ON THE FULL MOON & NEW MOON DAY’S
DAY 04 : – After Break fast , drive to Ukhrul –one the most unexploited hill stations of INDIA . This beautiful home of the cordial indigenous Tangkhul Nagas is situated at a height of (5,453 FT ) above see level. If greenery is something on the way to Ukhrul are a real treat for the eyes . on arrival ,walk around the town & the market to see the activities of the cheerful local people overnight at UKHRUL .
DAY 05 :-UKHRUL is famous for the SHIROI lily which blooms on the slopes of the shiroi peak . Although the lily blooms only in may -jun many people love to trek . PHANGREI is another trek king rout for the more energetic person . Visit the headman of UKHRUL town to see the human skulls preserved in his house from the time of (HEAD HUNTING’ ) days .You will get to know how the TANGKHUL NAGAS give themselves in to western education & do away with (HEAD HUNTING ). Over night stay at UKHRUL.
DAY 06 :- Check out from your hotel & drive towards IMPHAL & along the TIDDIM ROAD . This drive has asits main destination the breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL LOKTAK LAKE , the largest fresh water lake in ( NORTH EAST INDIA & MANIPUR’STOP TOURIST SPOT ) . We can get A drive’s eye view of the lake from SENDRA ISILAND . (We stop EN ROUTE AT SECOND WORLD AR BATTLE FIELD OF RED HILL WHERE THE INDIA PEACE MEMORIAL , THE ONLY JAPANESE SECOND WORLD WAR MEMORIAL IN INDIA is located ). This also includes A visits to the ( INDIAN NATIONAL ARMY ) ( INA ) memorial complex where men of the ( INDIA N NATIONAL ARMY ) ( INA ) hoisted the INDIAN TRICOLOR FLAG for the first time on INDIA soil .Check in to the Sendra Cottage . in the Evening , enjoy the breathtaking view of the hundreds of lamps used for fishing on the lake . ( NOTE :- INA MUSEUMIS CLOSED ON MONDAY . OVER NIGHT AT SENDRA COTTAGE ON THE LOKTAK LAKE OR HOME STAY *, HOME STAY FACILITY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE ON & AROUND THE LAKE .
DAY 07 :- Early morning ,visit the core area of the ( KEIBUL LAMJAO NATIONAL PARK , ) the world’s only ( FLOATING NATIONAL PARK ) to see the Sangai , the brow -antlered deer , or the dancing deer ‘ Before lunch , go for boating at LOKATAK LAKE to see the fishing Activities , floating Huts & the migratory birds . This bot ride is a photographer’s & lover’s delight . post lunch , walk around the lake & visit a local museum on of the island on the lake Over night stay at SENDRA COTTAGE on the LOKTAK LAKE or HOME STAY . DAY 08 :- After checking out trans fer to IMPHAL AIR POT (Reporting time at the domestic airport is two hours prior to the time of departure of flight . ( EXCLUSIONS any personal / Medical expenses .
